Frosting for Cookies
This yummy frosting can be used for the Confetti Cookies or about any type of sugar cookie.
Recipe by: Fun Cookie Recipes
Ingredients: 1 cup unsalted butter at room temperature, 3 cups powdered sugar, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, 1/4 teaspoon salt, Food coloring if needed.
Instructions
1. In a stand mixer with the whisk attachment beat the butter at medium speed for one minute until creamy.
2. Decrease the speed to low and slowly add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract and salt and beat again.
3. Increase the speed to high and beat for three minutes.
4. If needed, add food coloring and mix well.
